Boca Raton, FL (July 25, 2019)—More than 450 students at Delray Beach’s Pine Grove Elementary School will receive school supplies for the year through Boca West Children’s Foundation inaugural back to school event. The school supplies will be provided to students during the Meet the Teacher Event at Pine Grove Elementary School, 400 S.W. 10th Street, Delray Beach, on Friday, August 9 from 1-3 p.m.  Pine Grove is a Title I school.

Members of Boca West Country Club and volunteers from Office Depot will fill backpacks with new school supplies prior to the event. Then, the volunteers will visit the classrooms while teachers give out the filled backpacks. This event has been made possible through funds awarded to Boca West Children’s Foundation by the Great Charity Challenge. The event is being held in a partnership with Office Depot Foundation and the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County’s Red Apple Supplies Store.

Each day, Boca West Children’s Foundation serves more than 5,000 children. Its volunteers give 45,000 hours of their time annually to the 25 partner agencies with which the organization works.
