Boca West Children’s Foundation and Boys & Girls Club Made Holiday Dreams Come True for 200 Local Kids
Eighth Annual Old Navy Shopping Trip, Santa Gift, Breakfast and Food Basket for Holiday Meal
Boca Raton, FL–
Boca West Children’s Foundation (www.bocawestfoundation.org) volunteers made holiday dreams come true by escorting 200 area kids on an annual holiday shopping trip on Saturday, December 2nd. The children, ages 6-13, were from Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County. Each child received a $75 gift card to use at Old Navy in Boca Raton and was accompanied by a Boca West Country Club volunteer resident during the shopping trip.
After shopping, the kids were taken by bus to Boca West Country Club where they enjoyed an over the top “Beach Party Breakfast” and activities. Each child returned home with a gift from Santa and a “Snuggie Tail,” as well as a food basket filled with a turkey, a ham, fresh vegetables and all the fixings for a holiday meal. Characters from the movie “Madagascar” entertained the children during the breakfast.
