Boca West Children’s Foundation and Boys & Girls Club Made Holiday Dreams Come True for 200 Local Kids

Eighth Annual Old Navy Shopping Trip, Santa Gift, Breakfast and Food Basket for Holiday Meal


Boca Raton, FL–

Boca West Children’s Foundation ( volunteers made holiday dreams come true by escorting 200 area kids on an annual holiday shopping trip on Saturday, December 2nd. The children, ages 6-13, were from Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County. Each child received a $75 gift card to use at Old Navy in Boca Raton and was accompanied by a Boca West Country Club volunteer resident during the shopping trip.

After shopping, the kids were taken by bus to Boca West Country Club where they enjoyed an over the top “Beach Party Breakfast” and activities.  Each child returned home with a gift from Santa and a “Snuggie Tail,” as well as a food basket filled with a turkey, a ham, fresh vegetables and all the fixings for a holiday meal.  Characters from the movie “Madagascar” entertained the children during the breakfast.

Founded in 1971, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County is a not-for profit youth development organization dedicated to promoting the educational, vocational, health leadership and character of boys and girls in a safe, nurturing environment. About Boca West Children’s Foundation


The Boca West Children’s Foundation was launched in November of 2010. It came about as a desire by the thousands of members of the Boca West Country Club to give back to Boca Raton and the South Palm Beach County communities.  The Foundation’s mission is to identify and fund projects to assist children and their families in need in the area.  Since its inception, the Foundation has funded more than $5 million for specific programs of 25 charities.
