Arthur Adler, the founder and chairman of Boca West Children’s Foundation, will be honored during the event for his decade of service to the organization and the children in Palm Beach County. Adler was a leading broadcasting and sports executive, serving as a Chief Executive Officer for both the New York Yankees and New York Islanders, and working at Columbia Records where he produced albums for legends such as the Rolling Stones, Moody Blues, and Aretha Franklin. He has owned radio stations, an ad agency, a media buying agency, an incentive travel agency, and a sports stadium signage company. Adler moved to Boca Raton in 2004 and founded Boca West Children’s Foundation in November 2010.
“Arthur Adler has made a tremendous impact in the community and improved the lives of thousands of local children,” said Jennifer Bate Richy, Executive Director/COO of Boca West Children’s Foundation. “His passion, energy, and ability to inspire others have set a wonderful example. We are excited to celebrate all that he has helped us accomplish for our kids.”
Funds raised at the gala will benefit at-risk children and their families in Palm Beach County. The organization funds project-based programming at 25 local children’s organizations, allowing Boca West Children’s Foundation to reach more than 5,000 children in meaningful ways. Boca West Children’s Foundation volunteers give more than 45,000 hours of their time annually to its partner agencies with which the organization works.
The 10th Anniversary Gala on March 1 will start at 6 p.m. and will include a cocktail reception, seated dinner, and entertainment by Jay Leno. The event is co-chaired by Yvonne Ackerman, Sharyn Frankel and Marilyn Weinberg. The gala’s Steering Committee members include notable philanthropists and community leaders such as Meri Apfel, Jay DiPietro, Marilyn Greene, Sung Knowles, Pamela Higher Polani, Kevin Ray, Neil Saffer, Jan Savarick, Dr. Heidi Schaeffer, Diane Shawcross, Mike Sneider, and Barbara Stoller-Wittenstein.

About Jay Leno
Acclaimed TV late night show host, admired stand-up comedian, best-selling children’s book author, much-in-demand corporate speaker, lovable TV and movie voice-over artist, pioneering car builder and mechanic, and philanthropist.–it’s no wonder that Jay Leno has always been widely characterized as “the hardest working man in show business.”
Jay Leno’s late night television ratings domination included more than two decades of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” winning every consecutive quarter of his hosting over the past 19 years. After resuming hosting the 11:35 PM program following a one-time brief interruption of these duties, Jay once again took the show to the top, leading all of the ensuing quarters handily for another three years. Under his helm, the show was honored by the Television Academy with an Emmy for “Outstanding Comedy, Variety or Music Series.” “The Tonight Show” has also taken home the trophy for “Favorite Late Night Show” in the annual TV Guide Awards determined by voting viewers, and Jay was recently installed in the Television Academy’s Broadcast Hall of Fame.
