Boca Raton, FL (January 26, 2018) — Boca West Children’s Foundation (www.bocawestfoundation.org) is hosting its second annual “A Walk in the Woods” fundraiser featuring performances by students from the Lynn Conservatory of Music. The walk, which will raise funds for the 25 local non-profits supported by Boca West Children’s Foundation, will be held on Monday, February 5 from 3 to 5 p.m. on the Fazio II golf course at Boca West Country Club.
As participants walk the course, they will encounter trios, string quartets, and individual musicians from the conservatory performing favorites, while enjoying food, wine, and other refreshments. Pets on leashes are welcome. The event is open to the public and guests can register here.
The cost to participate is a $50 donation to Boca West Children’s Foundation and includes an event t-shirt. A Walk in the Woods has been co-sponsored by Margie and Merle Horowitz and Marjorie and Chuck Isroff.
“There are so many children in Palm Beach County who desperately need clothes, food, education, health, and safety,” said Arthur Adler, chairman of Boca West Children’s Foundation. “The funds raised at this event will help 5,000 local kids.”
