Printmaking is a unique form of art making that can be used to make multiples of one design as well as one-of-kind images. Used to decorate wearables, design posters, note-cards and unique works of art, printmaking has been used throughout history as form of communication, decoration and way to bring art to the masses. In this one-week class students will carve a stamp to print on a drawstring back pack, print a set of personalized note cards, create a sun-print on a wearable item, and select one design to mat as a fine art print. The week will conclude with a group print collaboration for each student to take home.
