The South Florida Cultural Consortium, an alliance of the arts councils of Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach Counties, annually confers artists with awards at either the $15,000 or $7,500 level. The artist directs and produces independent documentary films from his Miami-based studio Mito Films, and has represented Peru and the USA with his woodcuts in several international biennales.
