Delray Beach, FL (January 13, 2020) – Elisabetta’s Ristorante, Bar and Pizzeria, Big Time Restaurant Group’s newest concept led by Big Time Corporate Culinary Director Lisabet Summa, will team with famed Italian vintner Salvatore Ferragamo for a wine dinner featuring wines from Ferragamo’s family winery, Il Borro. The dinner will be held on Wednesday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Elisabetta’s, 32 East Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach.
Salvatore Ferragamo, CEO of Il Borro, is a third generation member of the Ferragamo design family. His father, Ferruccio Ferragamo, purchased and completely restored the Il Borro winery, located in the heart of Tuscany. The winery was first established in the 16th Century.
Elisabetta’s co-owner, Chef Lisabet Summa, developed the menu for the wine dinner which includes:
Apertivo: Coppa Ferragamo with house cured coppa, aioli, parmigiano regggiano, orange and fennel
Pairing: Rose del Borro, Sangiovese, Toscana
Primi: Rotollo Verde, spinach pasta with ricotta, bechemela and swiss chard
Pairing: Lamelle, Chardonnay, Il Borro, Toscana
Secondi: Dry Aged Ribeye, sliced dry aged ribeye with olive oil, potato purse and cippolini onions, served medium rare
Pairing: Il Borro, Merlot-Cab-Syrah, Toscana
Formaggio: Italian Cheese Plate, robiola (Italian ‘due latte’ double cream, sheep and cow, semi soft) and la tur (Italian triple cream made in the style of brie) served with seasonal fruit
Pairing: Pian di Nova, Syrah-Sangiovese, Toscana
Dolci: Amaretti Biscotti and Espresso
