Boca Raton Museum of Art

The Boca Raton Museum of Art is the official Fine Arts Museum in the City of Boca Raton. It
showcases a range of art collections, exhibitions and educational opportunities, designed to
enhance, educate and provide economic vitality to the region’s communities and visitors.

With roots dating back to the 1940s when a group of socially active women came together to form a
civic club, which in turn became an Art Guild and eventually the Boca Raton Museum of Art in the
1970s; the Museum today has a reputation for being one of South Florida’s leading cultural
institutions. In the late 1900s, a new facility was built and on January 24, 2001, the current building
was opened within downtown Boca Raton's Mizner Park.

The museum includes 44,000 square feet of galleries, along with meeting and program areas, and
attracts people of all ages to it’s exhibits. These include travelling and permanent exhibits, an
educational gallery and sculpture garden. You can enjoy lectures, film and video series, cell phone
tours, and special events throughout the year.

Located in Mizner Park, admission into the Museum Of Art is free for members, students and
children under 12 years, $12 for adults (non-members) and $10 for seniors (aged 65+). The museum
is open Tuesday to Sunday, closed Monday.
