The Wick Theatre & Costume Museum
The Wick in Boca Raton, Palm Beach County is home to both the Wick Theatre, which produces
Broadway quality musicals with award-winning casts; and the Costume Museum – internationally
renowned and a valuable part of film and theatre history.
Owned by Marilynn A. Wick, who also founded Costume World, the largest distributor of theatrical
products in the United States, The Wick was formerly the Caldwell Theatre Company. It was
purchased in 2013 and transformed into the building that stands today, opening with an
inaugural production of The Sound of Music.
The Wick also houses the Costume Museum, which opened in 2013 and is an exhibit of some of the
finest Broadway stage costumers and a great portrayal of the history of American Musical Theatre.
You’ll be able to see exquisite designs for costumes from over 35 productions and revivals, with the
total value said to be around $20 million.
