Boca Bacchanal Bubbles and Burgers – February 20th 6 – 8:30PM ($100)

CAST Party – Arts and Letters Fundraiser – February 20th 6 – 10PM

Join the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters’ Advisory Board for the first annual CAST Party on Feb. 20, 2020. All proceeds will benefit student scholarships.

City’s New Waterfront Park Opening Celebration! February 22th at 10AM

On February 22, 2020, the City’s newest waterfront park, Hillsboro El Rio South, will officially open for the community to gather to play, recreate, and enjoy nature!

From 10am-2pm, friends and neighbors can explore and enjoy the brand new 10,000+ square foot playground, join in on a pick-up basketball, pickleball, or volleyball game, launch their kayak or paddleboard, or wander the pristine grounds of the park. The celebration will also include FREE face painting and bounce houses, food trucks, music, and more!

A ribbon cutting ceremony will precede the celebration at 9:30am. The ceremony will feature remarks by City of Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer, Recreation Services Director Michael J. Kalvort, and the Boca Raton Parks & Recreation Board Chair. A corresponding ribbon cutting and plaque unveiling for the Joe Good Playground will take place after the official park ribbon cutting.

Both events are FREE and open to the public.
