There are hundreds of kinds of kites in Japan, with each region of the country having their own, specific style of traditional kites. Join us in the tradition by flying your own kite or making your own to fly in one of our workshops. This groundbreaking program includes practical instruction on the Japanese shakuhachi and the 13-string koto for adults, as well as taiko drumming and koto for children (grades 3-12).
