"Life's A Beach" is a complimentary virtual exhibit appropriate for history buffs of all ages. “Life’s a Beach” examines the history of Boca Raton from the perspective of her most beautiful asset, the beachfront. The Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum is pleased to announce a new online lecture series “Boca History 101”  Longtime BRHS&M curator Susan Gillis will present this ten-part virtual series whose topics include: Boca Raton, A Brief History; Boca Raton’s Pioneer Days; Addison Mizner and the 1920s; and Boca Raton During World War II. Ms. Gillis will present a PowerPoint based on the museum’s historical collections to accompany each lecture in ten half hour sessions.  Free to members. Non members…
